Kauri HealthCare is a large Health Centre, and you might wonder how we can still give you personal care, with people who you know and who know you. 

If you have come with us from the Albert, Vivian and Amesbury St practices, you will find that, as much as possible, one of these Pod teams will be the people from your practice whom you already know, and we’ve asked this Pod team to continue to take the main responsibility for providing and coordinating your care. 

If you are joining us as a new patient, you’ll be invited to register with a Pod team and get to know the people in your Pod as your main people to relate to.  

Our aim is that your Pod will give that personal general practice care that we know is important. 

If it doesn’t need a 111 ambulance trip to the Hospital, come to our Acute Clinic where a team of people are ready to assess your needs and provide care. 

Where once you might have thought of ED or City Doctors, think of us instead. If you can call ahead, we’ll aim to let you know when you’re likely to have the shortest wait, but if not, come anyway, talk to our receptionists and they’ll guide you to where we can give you the best care.
